Grand Father Clock
Uncle Brian from Cambridge came. He is a professional in antique clock, so I asked him to fix our grandfather clock in the Heartwood and he made it ticking again. His name card is in the clock. xo.xy47@gmail.com
I understand that some people might found the chime sounds annoying, it has a switch between (up) silent and (down) chime next to the III o’clock. The ticking of mechanism still a bit loud.
Maintaining
- When face the clock, the heaviest weight is on the right, medium in the middle and the lightest is on the left.
- We need to pull the weight up weekly.
- This model, we can move handles backward, too.
- The time seems to work properly. We can control slow or fast from the pendulum bob: long is faster (anti clockwise), short slower (clockwise)
